One of the largest manmade wetlands in the U.S., (managed by our partner the the North Texas Municipal Water District) our wetland is a powerhouse of environmental stewardship, managing and filtering up to 33 billion gallons of water each year. This vital resource ensures clean water for millions across 13 Dallas cities, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to both education and sustainability. This innovative facility also serves as a cost-effective alternative to new reservoir construction.

Wetland plants & sunlight naturally filter treated wastewater from the East Fork of the Trinity River, removing 95% of sediment, 80% of nitrogen, and 65% of phosphorus.

This project exemplifies cutting-edge environmental engineering and sustainability.
